Sunday Post: November 25, 2018

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @  Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Good Evening, Everyone!

My Current Reads!

Last week was a little hectic for me with Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping. I didn't have time to read Girls of Paper and Fire, so I will begin reading it today! I also have a borrowed Fear Street eBook that I would like to read in the next few days.

Reading Update

I'm still on page 78 of American Mirror: The Life and Art of Norman Rockwell.

In The Mail

Books

The only book in the mail last week was Target Alex Cross by James Patterson, which I had pre-ordered last month. I have no clue when I will get around to reading it.

Movies

I got a surprise in the mail yesterday - Can't Hardly Wait: 20th Year Reunion Edition Blu-ray. I don't recall signing up to review it, but I must have or Mill Creek Entertainment wouldn't have sent it to me. I'm not complaining as I've always liked the movie.

Black Friday

DVDs & Blu-rays

Like countless of other Americans, I went Black Friday shopping on Thanksgiving night with the intent of buying a few movies and television series.

Blu-rays

Skyscraper
Incredibles 2

DVDS

Movies

Christopher Robin
Baby Driver
Hereditary
Red Sparrow
Lone Survivor

TV Series

Westworld: Season One
Macgyver: Season One
Young Sheldeon: The Complete First Season
The Big Bang Theory: The Complete Eleventh Season
Outlander: Season Three

Skyscraper, Incredibles 2, Young Sheldon, and the Big Bang Theory are not for me,  they're Christmas presents. The rest are titles are for me! However, I only purchased Outlander: Season Three, so I can let a friend of mom's borrow it.

  1. But have you seen Incredibles 2? It's . . . incredible.:-) I thought it was like a James Bond parody, hilarious and cool, too.

  6. I've read quite a bit of the Alex Cross series I think to around 20 or so but haven't read any for a couple years. Hmm. I hope you enjoy.

I planned for total ease this Thanksgiving, cooking just for us. We stayed home and the shopping I did was online. I intended to go thru ads and all that but just couldn't think of anything we really needed. Anne - Books of My Heart
