Shadow put his knee into Mad Sweeney's chest. "For the second time, are we done fighting?" he asked. - page 56, American Gods by Neil Gaiman

I kept seeing countless advertisement for American Gods on STARZ, so I purchased the re-release paperback at Walmart several weeks ago. Originally, I was going to read the novel prior to the start of the television series, but I didn't start reading it until Monday morning after I had watched the second episodes on STARZ the night before. As I am writing this, I'm currently on page 264 out of 750! It's a long novel!

  1. I've seen this around a lot too. I haven't been able to connect with any of the Neil Gaiman books I've tried though. This week I am reading The Love Interest by Cale Dietrich. Happy reading!

    1. I'm currently on page 456, and, so far I'm liking the book better than the TV series.
