Xtreme Compact Wall Surge Protector Review

If you're like me, then you've probably got one too many extension cords and/or surge protectors in about every single room in the house. While it might get the job done, it does look a little messy.

Recently, I was sent the Xtreme Compact Wall Surge Protector (300-joules) to test out and review.

What makes this all Wall Surge Protector so different than all the rest?

Well, for starters it features two USB ports (2.1A), so you can charge your cell phone, iPad, or whatever electronics you own that needs to be charged. There are child safety sliding covers on the all 6 outlets, which will prevent accidents and possible fire hazards.

The Xtreme Compact Wall Surge Protector is very simple to use. Just remove the faceplate from the outlet, plug the wall surge protector into it and use the provided screw to mount it securely to the outlet. Then you're already to go!

I do have a similar wall surge protector in my bedroom, but it doesn't have the USB ports. With a cell phone, tablet, MP3 player and several other gadgets that needs charging at least once a week, having access to a USB port comes in handy, so I have this surge protector plugging into a outlet near my desk.  Overall, this is a great surge protector to own.

You can purchase the Xtreme Compact Wall Surge Protector on Amazon.com.
