Day one stared with the granola cereal, which I added some fat-free milk to it for breakfast. Plus, I had a cup of low-fat yogurt. For a morning snack, I drank a cup of fat-free milk. For lunch I had the red beans & rice witch chicken sausage in a spicy sauce (it’s in the above picture) with an extra smartcarb of rice. My afternoon snack consisted of one apple. My dinner consisted of a lasagna with meat sauce (look at the picture below) which I added a side salad, one slice of toast, and another 1/2 cup of rice. Dessert was a chocolatey nougat bar with peanuts and caramel.
The food for day one wasn't bad. The cereal tasted great; the red beans and rice was good, but a little too spicy; and the lasagna was better than I thought it would be for a microwavable meal. My favorite would have to be the nougat bar.
I'm not going to into anymore future details of each day's meal as I'll touch more on that in my final review later this week. So far each meal has been decent considering it is diet food.
