About
B.J. Burgess
Bookworm extraordinaire with a caffeine addiction, I’ve spent years dodging reality in the pages of novels—from spine-tingling thrillers to Westerns that make me feel like a cowboy. Join my chaotic love affair with books and movies at Ramblings of a Coffee-Addicted Writer and Gunsmoke & Grit—where words flow faster than my coffee supply!
I genuinely cherish the thoughts and insights of my readers, and I wholeheartedly welcome your engagement. However, to foster a truly constructive dialogue, I’ll be keeping a careful eye on the comments section. This means I’ll be moderating to weed out any spammy detritus, overly harsh critiques, or contributions that don’t add anything meaningful to the conversation. Think of it as my little corner of the internet—a space where everyone can share their perspectives without the noise. Let’s make this a place where ideas can flourish and grow, rather than wither away in the shadows of irrelevance.
On the first Monday of every month, when the coffee’s strong and the inbox is quiet, a little dispatch arrives. It carries the scent of last month’s book and movie reviews, the echoes of weekly blog hops, and the occasional ramble scribbled between sips. It’s not urgent. It’s not polished. But it’s honest—and it’s yours if you want it.

I'm going to have to go with Heath Ledger's terrific and terrifying performance as The Joker in The Dark Knight. He stole the entire movie with scary-as-hell malice punctuated by maniacal laughter. He showed audiences the true face of chaos, and was well-rewarded for it by the Academy.
ReplyDeleteJust to be different, I'm gonna go with The Mad Hatter.
ReplyDeleteFor me, it has always been the Joker! And I love every actors portrayal over the years who has portrayed the Joker.

ReplyDeleteDefinitely the Joker
ReplyDeleteBane, for sure.
ReplyDeletePoison Ivy
ReplyDeleteBane is my favorite villain cause he was so superior to batman in many ways mentally and physically.
ReplyDeleteBane because he is Superior to batman in every way mentally and physically.
ReplyDeleteI like the Joker. But, in the recent comics and animated series, I like Harley Quinn too!
ReplyDeleteBane, my husband actually doesn't think he's a villan, and has a secret little crush on him. Haha. But he was him for Halloween.
