Last year, Epic Pictures released Hungry Monster Entertainment’s low-budget science fiction film Automation on Digital and Blu-ray. It’s set in a futuristic 2026, where humans are being replaced in the workplace by automated robots. Yeah, it’s a scary concept, especially for anyone who works in factories.

Good Afternoon, Everyone!
What Am I Reading?
My broken record continues...
After many delays, I have officially started reading Hawk. Currently, I am on chapter 19 out of 112 and two epilogues. Now, I don't mind a book having short chapters, but 112 is overkill. I will admit Hawk is better written than the last few Maximum Ride sequels, but that probably has less to do with Mr. Patterson and more to do with his co-author, Gabrielle Charbonnet.
Next, I might read Hail to the Chins: Further Confessions of a B Movie Actor by Bruce Campbell next, which is an autobiography I picked up at a Dollar Tree a few weeks ago.
Also, I will be reading Under A Full Moon by Alice Kay Hill for an upcoming book tour. It's a true story about the last lynching in Kansas.

The name V.C. Andrews use to mean something to readers, even long after the real V.C. Andrews’s death. The original Flower in the Attic books (otherwise known as The Dollanganger Family series) were dark and beautifully written masterpieces, minus the prequel, Garden of Shadows, which the ghostwriter, Andrew Neiderman, finished. Despite the series having a beginning and ending, the publishers decided there needed to be side-sequels and more prequels. Instead of hiring a new ghostwriter with Gothic talents, they stuck with the aging Andrew Neiderman, whose writing skills have diminished in recent years.
