I'm still reading the same book that I started two weeks ago - The Sinner by Petra Hammesfahr. Due to the holidays, I didn't have very much time read until late last week when I started reading more of The Sinner. I'm currently on page 224 and I plan on reading some more of it right after this post is published. 

My original plan was to read Who I Am with You by Robin Lee Hatcher next, but I've changed my mind. Instead I'm going to read Fire & Blood by George R.R. Martin, which I had checked out at the library last week.

Well, I have read one chapter of the thriller The Sinner by Petra Hammesfahr, which is a book that has been collecting dust for nearly a year.

In The Mail

There were no new books to review in the mail last week. However, I did receive one Blu-ray and one DVD from Mill Creek Entertainment. The Blu-ray is a double feature featuring The Karate Kid Part III and The Next Karate Kid. The DVD is titled Robin Hood Origins and it features 5 classic films - The Bandit of Sherwood Forest, The Black Arrow, The Prince of Thieves, Rogues of Sherwood Forest, and Sword of Sherwood Forest. I have no idea why The Black Arrow is on this release as it has nothing to do with Robin Hood.

What am I currently reading?

I didn't have a whole lot of time to read last week due to many life issues, which included my depression, my grandmother's recovery from hip surgery, and getting ready for Christmas. However, I have no idea why I even bother with the latter anymore. If my grandmother is still in the hospital on the 25th, then nobody is getting together for Christmas dinner, which normally only included myself, my uncle, my grandmother, and my parents. 

The only book on my reading agenda this week is Mind Games by Nancy Mehl, which I haven't started reading yet. I have several other books that have been read, but I haven't gotten around to writing the reviews for them. I'm planning on writing and posting those reviews sometime this week.

I just finished reading Return to Fear Street: You May Now Kill The Bride earlier this morning, which my review will be posted sometime today. Next, I'll be reading Return to Fear Street: The Wrong Girl by R.L. Stine. My review for it will be posted tomorrow.

Well, as of this morning, I have only a few chapters left to read in Blood Communion: A Tale of Prince Lestat by Anne Rice. I'll finish reading it sometime today and my review will probably be posted tomorrow.

I came across America Mirror: The Life and Art of Norman Rockwell by Deborah Solomon at a Dollar Tree store last week. I don't read very much nonfiction, but I've always admired Norman Rockwell's illustrations, so I thought I would give this book a chance. I'm only on page 13 at the moment. The book is nearly 500 pages with tiny, tiny lettering. I'll be reading a little bit of it from time to time while I'm reading/reviewing other books. I have no idea when I will get it read.

I started reading A Willing Murder by Jude Deveraux on Friday. I meant to finish reading it yesterday, but due to the season premieres of Doctor Who and The Walking Dead, I didn't get very much reading done. Plus, I wasn't  feeling my best yesterday, which I blame on the rainy weather. (FYI: It's still raining as I'm writing this!) Hopefully, I will have some free time to read today. Maybe, I'll even finish it.
