My Answer:
Book prices have been gradually increasing over the years, especially after Covid-19. The recent tariffs seem pointless; they shouldn't have affected prices if the books were printed in the USA. But what do I know? I'm just a book lover. I find myself purchasing fewer new books due to rising prices, and I'm now waiting for deals and bargains. However, if there's a title I really want to read, I might still buy it at full price.

Yeah I've noticed prices continuing to go up on everything since Covid as well. It mostly feels like a fact of life as well. I have paperbacks from way back in the early days that were super cheap and they just steadily have gone up over time.

I agree. I’ve definitely noticed myself waiting for sales and special deals more often than I used to. There are still a few authors I’ll happily pay full price for, but for most books I’m much more selective these days.
