Is there a book you've been meaning to read forever but haven’t gotten to yet?

My Answer:

There are too many books I want to read to list them all, so I'll focus on the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I started reading the first book shortly after the Starz television adaptation premiered in 2014, but I have yet to finish it; I believe my bookmark is still inside the book. I own all the novels, except for the last one that hasn't been published yet, including the Lord John spinoff books. The Starz series is currently in its eighth and final season, which I haven't watched yet. Just so you know, I'll binge-watch it as soon as all the episodes have aired. 

I'm not sure why I haven't finished reading the first book. I loved what I read, but it is quite long, and all the books in the series are lengthy, which might be one reason for my delay. I recall having ARCs to read, which pushed the book aside. It's definitely on my must-read list, and when I get to it, I'll probably start from the very beginning.
