My Answer:
Once upon a time, I was a Goodreads fanatic, visiting the site religiously, but I’ve since drifted away. A quick look at my history reveals I’ve won seven books over the years—five of which actually landed in my hands. Contrast that with my experience on LibraryThing, where I’ve barely managed to snag 10% of the books I’ve won. Talk about a strikeout!

Yeah I pretty much equate Goodreads contest with the bookish lottery in that it's nearly impossible to win! I enter a handful a month I'd say and win every couple of years apparently! I almost didn't get my ARC I won this year as enough time had passed where I was able to click the button that says I still don't have my book. Not familiar with LibraryThing but not sure if I'm up for more sites where I can lose contests to books I am dying to read.
