While I don't think TWISTERS is Oscar-worthy, the special effects are impressive. I enjoyed it even more after rewatching it in 4K ULTRA HD. The plot closely resembles the original but with new characters, technology, and more CGI tornadoes. The acting was decent, as expected for a B-disaster flick. The cinematography and sound effects were particularly noteworthy.
Overall, TWISTERS is a fun, mindless, and entertaining blockbuster. It exceeded my expectations. I recommend getting it on 4K ULTRA HD or any other video format you prefer. ╌★★★★✰
