{Sunday Post} — Daisy Darker, No Time Like the Future, and RedShift Rendezvous

What Am I Reading?

My reading was slow this past week, but I did manage to read Star Trek: Lost to Eternity. I now have a bookmark placed inside Lost Birds by Anne Hillerman, which I had planned to start today. Still, last night, I grabbed Killing the Witches by Bill O'Reilly off a shelf, blew the dust off it—being sarcastic—and read thirty pages—so I'm reading Killing the Witches first, then Lost Birds.

Song of the Week

What's New on the Bookshelf?

My local Dollar Tree either hadn't stocked their shelves yet or didn't get in any new books when I stopped by there during the week. I did get one book there, No Time Like the Future by Michael J. Fox, which I believe I overlooked on my last visit.

I bought the paperback Daisy Darker by Alice Feeney; I've never read anything by the author, though I've seen this cover previously, maybe on Kindle while browsing for sales.

I found some more 10-cent Western paperbacks at the thrift store. The titles are Ralph Compton's Tucker's Reckoning by Matthew P. Mayo, Ralph Compton's Double Cross Ranch by Matthew P. Mayo, and William W. Johnstone's Die by the Gun by J. A. Johnstone. Also, I picked up one science fiction paperback, Redshift Rendezvous, by John E. Smith.

New titles on my Kindle are Double or Nothing by Kim Sherwood, Hell is Empty by Craig Johnson, When No One Was Looking by Rosemary Wells and The Vampire Diaries: Stefan's Diaries: Origins (attributed to L. J. Smith but written by an unknown ghostwriter).
