{Sunday Post} — Bride, Confessions of the Dead, and Red Sky Mourning

What Am I Reading?

I finished Douglas Preston's Extinction, moved on to R.L. Stine's Shark Night, and read a graphic novel. I've placed a bookmark inside Craig Johnson's First Frost and will begin reading it today.

What's New on the Bookshelf?

Sometime during this past week, I picked up Jack Carr's Red Sky Mourning and James Patterson's Confessions of the Dead. These were "newer" releases, so I paid retail price for them.

At Dollar Tree, I picked up Michael Crichton's The Andromeda Evolution by Daniel H. Wilson, The Bishop's Pawn by Steve Berry, and Lullaby and Goodnight by Wendy Corsi Staub.

I found another 99-cent Western audiobook at the thrift store, Elmer Kelton's Cloudy in the West. Also, I picked up for ten cents each False Witness and Pretty Girls, written by Karin Slaughter.

I found a slew of "free" J.A. Johnstone paperbacks at the library. The titles are Suicide Mission, Butch Cassidy: Lost Years, Luke Jensen: Bounty Hunter: Blood Sunday, Savage Texas: The Stampeders, The First Mountain Man: Preacher's Blood Hunt, The Family Jensen: Massacre Canyon, McCallister: The Eagles Legacy: Kill Crazy, The Kerrigans: A Texas Dynasty, Butchery of the Mountain Man, Day of Independence, and Winchester: 1886. Additionally, I grabbed a few other "free" paperbacks: Shadow River by Ralph Cotten, Vigilante Dawn by Ralph Compton, Shotgun by C. Courtney Joyner, Time of Attack by Marc Cameron, Black Wind by Clive Cussler, and Bride by Ali Hazelwood.

New titles on my Kindle are Godzilla on My Mind by William Tsutsui, Blood Curse by Janice Harrell, The Fever by Diane Hoh, Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda: The Attitude of Silence by Jeff Mariotte, and Resident Evil: Extinction by Keith R. A. DeCandido.

  1. OOh nice new reads! Mostly new to me ones except for Bride! I liked that one enough, but it was my first Hazelwood book. It was definitely a fun story! Hope you enjoy all of the new reads!
