{Sunday Post} — Are Snakes Necessary?, The First Order, and Weeks: Book Three

The Caffeinated Book Reviewer's Kimberly hosts a weekly meme called "The Sunday Post"!

* Weekly Tidbits *

  • I'm too lazy to write any weekly tidbits.

What Am I Currently Reading?

I have fewer than 100 pages left in Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child's Bloodless, which I want to finish today. Next, I'll dive into Gretchen McNeil's Three Drops of Blood, which I'll review for a blog tour on March 29. Then I'll start reading the Dungeons & Dragons books. In addition, I'm now on page 39 of Lawrence Block's The Girl with the Long Green Heart. I'd had the paperback for a while and pulled it from a shelf on a sleepless night to read a bit of it.

What's in the Mail?

The Immortal Detective by D.B. Woodling and Weeks: Book 3 by Jasyn T. Turley were among the new ARCs. I then got Are Snakes Necessary? by Brian De Palma and Susan Lehman, which I bought from Hamilton Books.

What's New on the Shelf?

I picked up Wish You Well by David Baldacci and The First Order by Jeff Abbott at the thrift shop. I failed to mention in last week's post that I purchased Lisa Unger's Confessions on the 7:45.

  1. Lana Del Rey- I just discovered her music recently. Are Snakes Necessary? looks interesting. I've been wanting to try Hard case.

  2. Oh nice! I enjoyed Three Drops of Blood! Wish there was less contemporary jargon ahead of the actual mystery part, but I was somewhat prepared for it! Hope you enjoy all the new reads!
