  Billy's Answer

I used to read a ton of romance books, and I still do occasionally. Actually, I don't have a favorite trope—at least not one that comes to me while I'm writing this.

  1. I love the enemies to lovers trope, because I love it when the sparks fly and the swooning starts.

  2. I never went through a phase where I read a lot of romance novels. But I have always (secretly) liked them. Rom-coms are my favorite.

  3. I don't know about my favorite trope either, but I do know however that I'm DONE with the fake dating one.

  4. I've decided that yes, I do enjoy a romance novel. For a long time I said I didn't. I enjoy a good second chance romance, and enemies to lovers is fun, too.

  5. I don't really read straight up romance books myself. I like it as a side element though! I would say my fall back favorite is the enemies to lovers trope!

  7. I really don’t read romance that often, but when I do I like the young adult genre. “Bullies to romance” or high school drama. Lol, I know, it sounds like an ole lady trying to go back in time, hmm… 🤣

  8. I don't really have a favorite romance trope either, and don't read nearly as much of it these days as I did when I was in school. Have a great weekend. - Katie

  11. Being that I read over 500 romances a year, there are very few tropes I don't like.... but I did narrow my favourites to a few dozen...
