  Billy's Answer

Probably one too many. LOL!

It all depends on what books are coming out and what books are on sale. Let's say two to twenty books. Please don't freak out over the number. It's only an estimate.

Gallery Books has a 99-cent sale on Star Trek ebooks on the 1st of every month, and there can be anywhere between six to ten ebooks on sale, and I buy the ones I don't own. Also, I might buy an ebook on sale via Kindle Daily Deals.

As for printed books, I'll pick up every new James Patterson novel if I don't receive an ARC from the publisher.
Occasionally, I'll pick up other new full-priced books if I'm familiar with the author, such as Stephen King, C.J. Box, Lee Child, etc. I might pick up a few used or discounted books at the local thrift store and Dollar Tree throughout the month if I find titles that interest me.

  1. I feel like for me it just depends on the month. I'm usually just buying new releases, occasionally an old one if I decide I want to read it. I'm sure if I look back, my numbers are all over the place! Lol.

  2. Hi there Billy! Oh gosh, I actually completely forgot about e-books.....! No, then my number also need to go up from between 1 - 5 to around 5 -10 I'd say.

  3. It depends on what's on sale and what I really have to have. We don't go to a brick and mortar bookstore very often. But I check Bookbub every day, and if there's something we just have to have, I'll snag it.

    My BBH is here.

    Happy Friday!

  4. Wow that's a lot of books. I have had to look at more storage space and I don't even buy that many!

    Have a great weekend!

  5. Every Patterson book, Billy? Good grief--how do you find the room? Even if you don't buy anything else, that has to be a mountain :)

    2. Besides Patterson's new memoir, I don't buy his non-fiction books. Most of my Patterson collection is in one bookcase.
