{Sunday Post} - Dinosaur Disaster and Spider-Man: No Way Home

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Happy Easter, Everyone!

What Am I Reading?

I read one and a half Dark Shadows ebooks during the week. That's it. My mind has been on other things, and I had to run several errands. Currently, I'm on page 283 in Terence Fisher: Master of Gothic Cinema and on page 171 in Dune. I haven't even cracked open A Relative Murder yet.

What's in the Mail?

SPHE (Sony Pictures Home Entertainment) sent a DVD + Digital of Spiderman: No Way Home. I found this odd because the review copy request form only listed 4K UHD and Blu-ray as options. Nevertheless, a free movie is a free movie. I've watched it twice, and planning on writing my review for it sometime this week.

What's New on the Bookshelf?

I picked up Dog Diaries: Dinosaur Disaster by James Patterson and Steven Butler at Walmart on Friday. I'm more of a cat lover, so I don't know why I collect this series. I guess it's because it's a spinoff of the Middle School series.

  1. I haven't listened to Jewel in ages. Nice one.

I'm so curious about those dark Shadows books! Looking forward to your reviews if you do so.

    Happy Easter! .

    1. I'm planning on writing reviews for all of them. I've already posted reviews for Dark Shadows (Book One) and Victoria Winters (Book Two).

  2. Oh nice! I am still behind on my Marvel movies! I've two I need to watch before I can watch the new Spiderman one, but then I still need to get a way to watch it. What with the whole issue with Disney and Sony, I doubt it will be on Disney+ anytime soon! Black Friday shopping it is then! Lol.

Hope you enjoy your new reads and movie!

    1. Sony has owned the film and television rights for Spider-Man and all Spider-Man-related characters for twenty years or so. I believe either (or both) Starz or Netflix will carry No Way Home on their platforms. I have no idea when Disney+ will get it.

  3. Do you have to be in the entertainment industry to get the free movies? I'm a streamer so I don't even know what 4K UHD is and I'm only assuming "digital" is like streaming. LOL

    Happy Easter!

  5. Am I jealous that you are getting free movies to review? Yes. Do I think that would add another level of stress to my blogging life I don't need? Also yes. :)

I saw that Spider-Man movie in the theater. My friends enjoyed it more than I did. I liked the geek out parts, but I felt like it took entirely too long to get there.
