  1. I used to...but then my TBR pile got out of control. And then I added another 100 books to it AFTER that. So I find I don't have time to continue reading a book that I am not enjoying. I have done some form of "skim reading" or what have you where I will read enough to get the idea of what happened in order to write the promised review. But that usually only happens if I made it to the halfway point. If I can't even make it to that, it's a DNF.

  2. NO. If its poorly written, I'm out. Good for you for powering through. I read for enjoyment, so if I'm not enjoying it, there's no point in finishing it.
