{Sunday Post} - Bookmarks and The Horsewoman

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Good Morning, Everyone!

I hope everyone is surviving the wintery weather. There are currently several inches of snow on the ground. The streets are extremely slick because my town neglected to treat any of them. I think I might be the only person on my street who covered his driveway with ice melt before the snowstorm.

I've been fighting a nasty head cold since Wednesday, so I have been sleeping quite a bit for the last few days. The congestion part seems to be winding down.

What Am I Reading?

I haven't turned on my Kindle to read any more of Into Every Generation by Kendare Blake. I got preoccupied with Reacher: Killing Floor by Lee Child, and then I caught a cold. I finished reading Killing Floor on Saturday morning. Hopefully, I'll be reading The Horsewoman by James Patterson and Mike Lupica sometime today.

Recent Reviews

With me being sick, I took a break from writing reviews. Though, I have two paragraphs written for Star Trek: Deep Domain. The KC Chiefs don't play until tonight, so I might take a stab at writing this afternoon.

What's in the Mail?

I've had my eyes on a few horror-themed bookmarks for a while now and finally talked myself into ordering them. The bookmarks are Annabelle the doll from The Conjuring universe, Pennywise from IT, demon-possessed Regan from The Exorcist, and Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th movies.  All the bookmarks came with plastic sleeves.
