  Billy's Answer

The Point Horror YA books from the '80s and '90s are underrated. Three Fear Street films are headed to Netflix this summer, and they will also adapt Christopher Pike's The Midnight Club into a series. HBO Max (along with R.L. Stine as a producer) is adapting the Point Horror books into an anthology series. With all these projects in the works, maybe the Point Horror books will get reprints shortly and finally get the appreciation they deserve.

  1. I hope the media exposure will bring these books to a whole new audience.

  2. I actually haven't read these although quite a few of my American friends are rapturous about them! If they're heading to Netflix I'll do my best to give them a read before hand :) Thanks for hosting and have a lovely weekend!

  3. Media exposure can definitely help garner more attention to a series. I had read the Vampire Diaries series looooong before it became a TV show. I love my retro 90s covers! Sadly, I think my picks might remain in the dark because that just seems to be my luck of things.
