  Billy's Answer

I've made a few attempts in the past at it but never made it even close to 50,000 words. November is always a busy month for me, so I have very little time to write.

  1. Sometimes these things can be counterproductive in that the pressure to succeed actually makes it harder to write. Good luck if you do it in the future.

  2. I've honestly never had time for it myself. Also back when I was writing my drafts were finished and I was querying. I was never ready to move onto my next novel because I was trying to refine my first manuscript to be something better than it was.

  3. It would seem like November is an odd time to do this. I wonder why they picked November?

    Have a great day!

  5. Yeah, and I won the times that I did, but I got burned out and haven't written in years now. More time for reading!

  6. I have a few times, but none of what I wrote ever went anywhere. I had some fun doing it, but I'm at a point in my life where I don't need that kind of pressure for something I'm not going to do anything with anymore. - Katie
