Billy's Answer
I've ventured into the world of paranormal and supernatural romances. Just like with any other genre, some books are good, and others are stinkers. The Sookie Stackhouse novels by Charlaine Harris are my favorite. Enjoying the stories has less to do with vampires, werewolves, and ghosts, and more to do with likable characters, which there are plenty of them in the series.

Paranormal genres are my jam! I love a good paranormal read. It's more so because of the otherworldly characters who make it entertaining for me! That and a good plot! I did read the Southern Vampire Mystery novels as well, but around the time the book height changed in its hardcover form, it started losing its mystery essence and I think it was also at that time they changed the name of the series to remove the "mystery."

I loved Sookie Stackhouse! Charlaine Harris has a new series out that I adore called The Gunnie Rose series. So fun!
ReplyDeleteI prefer demons, witches and magic to the more traditional vampires and shifters but I do love a good PNR.
ReplyDeleteI like paranormal romance because there's the new worlds from paranormal, and the conflict of romance, which are two of my favourite elements in book :) I enjoy the Sookie Stackhouse series as well :)
