Good Morning, Everyone!
I hope everyone is safe & sound this Memorial Weekend. To be honest, it doesn't feel like Memorial Weekend this year. Besides from putting flowers on two graves yesterday, I'm doing nothing for the holiday.
After months and months of telling myself that I need to lose weight, I finally got the motivation to drag myself out of bed in the wee morning hours and exercise. After several days of being sore, I'm enjoying exercising, again.
What Am I Reading?
I read absolutely nothing last week! There are no excuses. I am reading the Satan's Sleuth trilogy by Michael Avallone within the next few days. I downloaded the books from Kindle Unlimited and my subscription is expiring at the end of the week. I don't read enough titles on it to justify paying $10 per month. I will finish reading the trilogy and then cancel my subscription.

What's in the Mail?
Nothing review-wise in the mail, but I received The Vampire Lovers Blu-ray I had ordered from Scream Factory (Shout Factory!). I've been wanting to collect the Hammer horror flicks on Blu-ray, but the Scream Factory releases can be expensive. The Vampire Lovers Blu-ray is going out-of-print this year, and, plus, Shout Factory! had it on sale, so I bought it. There are two more films in The Karnstein Trilogy. One of these days, if there's a good sale, I will get them.
What's New on the Bookshelf?
Last Monday, I picked up Lethal Velocity by Lincoln Child and The Enemy by Lee Child at a thrift store for 10 cents each. Yesterday, I grabbed three $1 hardbacks at Dollar Tree - Shooting the Sphinx by Avram Noble Ludwig, Savage Country by Robert Olmstead, The Romance Reader's Guide to Life by Sharon Pywell.
The only recent books on my Kindle are Lady by Thomas Tryon and The Delicate Dependency by Michael Talbot.
Good luck with the diet and exercise routine. It's hard but worth it to be healthy.

I've always wanted to try Lee Childs. I love bargain books! Have a lovely Memorial Day!
