  Billy's Answer

For physcial ARCs, I stack them in a pile by their either the tour dates or release dates. However, this year I'm mostly reading books based on whatever mood I'm in. For example, two of my most recent fiction reads invovled flu-like virus outbreaks.

  1. For me it's usually review books first then after that pretty much whatever I want! Lol. If there's an event coming up, I sometimes try to get caught up on that author if it's possible but sometimes there really isn't enough time!

    Have a GREAT day!

    1. For me, "events" are priority reads. As for ARCs, the ones I've requested are read first and non-requested tiles will get read whenever I find the time.

  2. I tend to go through my stacks to find whatever interests me at the time. I don't have a set schedule or anything for reading. If something is going to be released soon, or just hit shelves, I might try to prioritize it a bit more because I might get asked about it while working at the bookstore. But I have to be in the mood to read it, otherwise, it takes me forever to get through.

    1. This year, I'm trying to read books that I want to read! In the past, I was accepting or signing up for every ARC that came my way, and it got to the point where reading was a chore instead of a passion, which took the fun out of reading.

  3. Sounds like you've been in the mood for some topical fiction then!

  4. Yeah, I think a lot of people are mood reading right now. I'm doing a few comfort reads, though I answered the question slightly differently.

    1. Reading is a good way to distract ourselves from real world issues.

  5. Good process, Billy.

I read by pub date since most of mine are ARC's for review.

    Take care.

    1. I try to do that as well, but there are times when the ARCs arrive a little late. When that occurs, I don't always read them right away.

    2. That is true at times.

      Thanks for your reply.
