  Billy's Answer

I believe the want or the passion to read on your own time will make you more intelligent. A high school teacher once told me she learned more from reading cheap romance novels than she ever did in school. However, this doesn't mean being a bookworm will make you a better worker than non-reading employees as it really all depends on what exactly your job entails. So, my answer is ― yes and no!

  1. I mean job type does come into play in this matter I think. True, reading won't make you the BEST of the BEST, but I feel like in little ways it can attribute you to being a good employee.

    1. It all really depends on the job position. If you're working in a bookstore, then yes reading books would make you better at your job.

  2. I agree with your answer. It is good in someways, but it will depend on the job.
