Do you remember last week when I reviewed GUNS? (If not, then read the review here!) Well, today I'm reviewing 1991's Do or Die (R; 96 mins; $19.98), which was recently released to Blu-ray from Mill Creek Entertainment. It comes with a Digital Code that can be redeemed on movieSpree.
Do or Die is the sixth installment of the Triple B (or otherwise known as the "Bullets, Bombs and Babes") series directed by the late Andy Sidaris. It stars Dona Speir, Roberta Vasquez, Pat Morita, Erik Estrada, Bruce Penhal, Cynthia Brimhall, William Bumiller, Michael Shane, Ava Cadell, Carolyn Liu, and Stephanie Schick.
Inspired (or more like a ripoff) by the classic short story The Most Dangerous Game, Do or Die centers around Masakana 'Kane' Kaneshiro (played by Pat Morita), an international crime boss who's hellbent on taking down Molokai Cargo (The Agency) by hiring 6 pairs of assassins to murder the L.E.T.H.A.L. Agents.

Final Thoughts
The Triple B films have always had thin plots but Do Or Die is one of the thinnest in the series. It's just a bad guy trying to kill off the L.E.T.H.A.L. ladies and their male counterparts. Yep, that's basically the entire plot.
Most of the regulars are back for sixth entry, including Dona Speir, Roberta Vasquez, Michael J. Shane, Bruce Penhal, and Cynthia Brimhall. Erik Estrada is also back, even though he was killed at the very end of the previous film GUNS. Is he a zombie? Nope, Estrada is playing a completely different character, who gets to have a steamy love scene with Dona Speir.
The picture and sound qualities are more in par with the previous Blu-ray releases. The 4K Widescreen Restoration isn't perfect but it's probably the best we're ever going to get. There are a few decent bonus features, if you're into that sort of thing.
Overall, Do or Die is another fun entry in the Triple B series. Sure, the story is barely there but there are plenty of explosions, nudity, and silly dialogue to keep you entertained for 96 minutes.
