My Thoughts
I'm almost positive that everyone has at least one seamstress, quilter, or crafter in their family. A simple, but clever gift to give them for Christmas is the Quilting Block & Pattern-A-Day 2018 Calendar. Published by Andrews McMeel Publishing, the day-to-day calendar retails for $16.99, and features over 50 quilt designs and more than 260 quilt blocks by Debby Kratovil.Each page has a colorful design on the front with the pattern on the backside. All the fabric requirements and pattern enlargement instructions for each quilting project are included. The lid of the cardboard box that the calendar comes in can be turned into a stand. The instructions for the stand can be found on the backside of the lid.

Overall, the Quilting Block & Pattern-A-Day 2018 Calendar is an adorable calendar that should appeal to any quilter. The daily designs are very colorful and the instructions for each quilt block are easy to follow. While I do like all the patterns, my favorites are the Celebrate Snow Quilt, Halloween BOO! Quilt, Christmas Sampler Quilt, and Four Seasons Sampler Quilt. The calendar would make a great gift!
