I stopped by the thrift store last week and bought two novels - Blood and Beauty by Sarah Dunant and The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood.
There is a little book drop off at the community room/building at the retirement manor/apartments (if that's what you could call it) where my grandmother lives. Occasionally, I will drop off donate books that I no longer want there. Anyone who lives there or their relatives can take the book or books and keep it/them. Anyhow, I found Killing Jesus by Bill O'reilly & Martin Dugard there. I had to double check to make sure I didn't already have a copy before grabbing the book.
I had pre-ordered the books Pottymouth & Stoopid, and Murder Games, both written by James Patterson, several weeks ago, and they arrived in the mail at the end of June.
Lastly, The Berentstain Bears: Bless Our Gramps & Gran by Mike Berenstain arrived in the mail last week. My review for it is coming soon.

I genuinely cherish the thoughts and insights of my readers, and I wholeheartedly welcome your engagement. However, to foster a truly constructive dialogue, I’ll be keeping a careful eye on the comments section. This means I’ll be moderating to weed out any spammy detritus, overly harsh critiques, or contributions that don’t add anything meaningful to the conversation. Think of it as my little corner of the internet—a space where everyone can share their perspectives without the noise. Let’s make this a place where ideas can flourish and grow, rather than wither away in the shadows of irrelevance.
