Fitness & Coffee Sundays: "Achieve Pure Performance" with ETB Fit!

Tonight will be last workout in the Master's Hammer & Chisel 8-week program, which features a mixture of light weightlifting and cardio. It had been years since I had lifted weights regularly, so it took my body a little while to adjust.

During these 8 weeks, I made sure to drink at least one protein shake per day; typically mixed with skim milk. There are many different brands of pre & post workout protein mixes, so finding the best one to suit your needs can be challenging.

Earlier this month, I received a sample box full of Grizzly Protein samples from ETB (Eat The Bear) Fit, featuring three different flavors - Chocolate, Vanilla and Chocolate Peanut Butter. Each Non-GMO Whey Protein Isolate flavor is free of banned substances, gluten and lactose.

The Grizzly Protein Vanilla contains zero sugars, zero fat, 25g protein and 100 total calories. Vanilla isn't my favorite flavor for a protein shake as I've tried several ones that have tasted bland. To my surprise, this vanilla protein mix actually tastes pretty good.

The Grizzly Protein Chocolate contains zero sugars, 1% fat, 24g protein and 100 total calories. Who doesn't like chocolate? This protein mix has a sweet chocolatey taste, but not too sweet (like other brands).

The Grizzly Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter contains zero sugars, 1% fat, 24g protein and 100 total calories. While I've never cared much for peanut butter when I was a kid, it has grown on me over of the years. Sometimes, I even add a small amount to my morning protein shake. The Chocolate Peanut Butter is my favorite of the three flavors. It has an even blend of peanut butter and chocolate.

Final Thoughts: I had read about the ETB Fit brand, but this is the first time I have tried their protein mixes, and I'm glad to say that I've enjoyed all three flavors that were sent to me. The Grizzly Protein mixes have a sweet, smooth taste; which can be mixed easily in a shaker. I prefer to mix them with skim milk, but it tastes just as good blended with water. Overall, I've been impressed with the Grizzly Protein and I recommend the ETB Fit brand to others.
