Since 1983 many aspiring writers and illustrators have participated in the annual Writers and Illustrators of the Future competition, which was founded by the late L. Ron Hubbard. Thirteen of the best stories entered into the contest every year will appear in the L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future anthology, along with illustrations.
I'm not the biggest science fiction reader, but there is a wide variety of short stories featured in the 30th volume.

This volume has three additional stories by establish writers, L. Ron Hubbard, Mike Resnick and Orson Scott Card, and several essays on writing and illustrating.
You'll find shapeshifters, androids, robots, hunters and more in L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future Volume 30. It would take me too long to write a synopsis for each story, so I'm not going to include it in this review. The authors featured in the anthology all have wild imaginations and all the illustrations are outstanding. A few of my favorites are The Clouds In Her Eyes, Giants At The End Of The World, Animal and Memories Bleed Beneath The Mask. Overall, I enjoyed reading L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future Volume 30 and I recommend it others.
