Arriving on DVD on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, is Slugterra: Ghoul From Beyond, the first Slugetrra movie! As a bonus feature is the Slugisode - Burpy & Friends Take A Drive.

The series airs on Disney XD and centers on young Eli Shane, who is determined to become the best slug-singing hero on Slugterra. Shane, along with his friends (Pronto Geronimole, Beatrice "Trixie" Sting and Kord Zane), battle the deadly Dr. Thaddius Blakk and his goons, slugs and ghouls.

Eli finally defeated Dr. Thaddius Blakk and his slugs at the end of the third season, but evil is never too far from behind. In the first ever Slugterra move, Eli and the gang are on their way to Convertamail Cavern, where they encounter Boss Ember and the Scrap Force Gang, whom have their own megamorphs.

Eli and the gang are determined to find out how Boss Ember got a hold of the megamorphs, so they travel to the eastern caverns, but awaiting them is a new danger.

Though I consider myself a cartoon fan, there are a few animated programs that go under my radar, including Slugterra. I had never heard of the series until I reviewed Heroes of the Underground a few months ago. Slugterra: Ghoul From Beyond runs for 44-minute and introduces some new villains to the series. Overall, I thought the movie was fast-paced and action-packed.
