Arriving on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital HD Ultraviolet on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, is the thrill-ride Non-Stop, directed Jaume Collet-Serra and starring Liam Neeson. A special feature includes Suspense At 40,000 Feet - a behind-the-scenes look with the cast, producers and the director. Exclusively to Blu-ray is the special feature Non-Stop Action - a behind-the-scenes look at the film's visceral action sequences.

Liam Neeson plays Bill Marks, an alcoholic U.S. Federal Air Marshal, who finds himself aboard British Aqualantic Flight 10, a non-stop flight from New York to London. Just after takeoff, he receives several mysterious text messages on his secure air marshal cell phone. At first he thinks it is just a prank, but he quickly becomes full alert when he receives a message that one passenger will die every twenty-minutes if he doesn't transfer $150 million to a specific bank account.

With the other air marshal, Jack Hammond (played by Hell On Wheels' Anson Mount) acting a bit peculiar, Bill has no other choice but to trust the passenger sitting next to him, Jen Summers (played by Julianne Moore) and a flight attendant, Nancy Hoffman (played by Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery), with the situation.

As the body count rises and the clock starts to run out, Bill must deal the uneasy passengers and unravel the mystery of who is behind the terrorist plot.


Over the last few years, Liam Neeson transformed from a dramatic actor to an action hero, thanks to several hit films such as Batman Begins, The Grey, Taken and Taken 2. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, his recent adventure, Non-Stop, was a box-office success, taking in nearly $200 million world-wide this year. Yes, the whole plane hijacking plot has been done to death, but thanks to Liam Neeson's brilliant acting-chops and a great supportive cast, Non-Stop is an intense thriller that grabs a hold of the viewer and doesn't let go until the plane crash-lands. Though the last twenty-minutes becomes formulaic, the film still holds up pretty well compared to the recent action flicks from Stallone and Schwarzenegger. Overall, I thought the Non-Stop is an intriguing thriller from start to finish and it looks great on Blu-ray!
