Monday Morning Madness #21: Reboots Take Time

Last week certainly went by like a flash! Actually, the whole month of June flew by too fast. My plans of reading a few Harlequin books didn't happen, though I do plan on crash coursing myself on the genre this month. Instead I'm reading a zombie romance anthology, mostly because I'm brainstorming on my own zombie romance story. So far I've been a complete dead brain, but hopefully a creative spark will occur.

I spent most of my free time editing through a short story authored by myself and four other writers. Though the story is just over five thousand words, it wasn't an easy task as all of us have our own style of writing. Nevertheless, I like the final version of the story, which I sent it into an upcoming anthology. Cross your fingers that it'll get into it!

My desktop is currently a little messy with books I need to write reviews for and a few others I need to actually read. If I have time later, I might tidy up some or I may jump into a new children story. I know I said I would concentrate on adult writings, but a clever idea popped into my mind Saturday night. Typically, when this happens I would just write the story idea in a journal, but I quickly came up with a title, and I think I should go ahead and write it.

My diet officially starts today as I'm starting the Revolt July Uprising, which I'll be detoxing this week. (Yes, even on July 4th!). I'm looking forward to getting back into a daily exercise routine. Soon, I'll be reviewing the Five Day Weight Loss Kit from Nutrisystem, which I'll be writing several posts on. I should be receiving it sometime this week, which I'll probably start it on the 6th. (At least that is my plan.)

  1. You have a nice flow of writing. However it is a huge task to write a short story of five thousand words.

  2. @Bespoke suit made

Writing five thousand words isn't difficult, but when there is five different writers involved, it becomes a bit of a challenge.
