Review:
Enter a world of Pureblood demons, Fallen Angels and partial demons, such as Mara, who traveled into another dimension called Nocturna when she was a child along with her cousin Gloria. Mara returned to her own world when she was twenty, but her cousin went missing.
Mara blames herself for Gloria's disappearance and possible death. She wants revenge by killing the Pureblood responsible for kidnapping them. She gets help from Raphael; he also originally helped her escape Nocturna. She is not a kid anymore and she will do anything to find her cousin.
I hate to admit that this eBook has been on my Kindle for several months and I just read it over the weekend. I've only read a few short stories by Jeaniene Frost in anthologies, but Night's Darkest Embrace is the best I have read by her. It took me a few chapters to figure out what was going on and who the Purebloods were, but after that I flew through the novella. There is mystery, sex, violence and supernatural creatures, all which kept my interest until the very end. Overall, I enjoying my visit to Jeaniene Frost's world and I recommend it others.
*Disclaimer - I received this book from the publisher free of charge in exchange for my honest review.
