B.J. Burgess
Bookworm extraordinaire with a caffeine addiction, I’ve spent years dodging reality in the pages of novels—from spine-tingling thrillers to Westerns that make me feel like a cowboy. Join my chaotic love affair with books and movies at Ramblings of a Coffee-Addicted Writer and Gunsmoke & Grit—where words flow faster than my coffee supply!
I genuinely cherish the thoughts and insights of my readers, and I wholeheartedly welcome your engagement. However, to foster a truly constructive dialogue, I’ll be keeping a careful eye on the comments section. This means I’ll be moderating to weed out any spammy detritus, overly harsh critiques, or contributions that don’t add anything meaningful to the conversation. Think of it as my little corner of the internet—a space where everyone can share their perspectives without the noise. Let’s make this a place where ideas can flourish and grow, rather than wither away in the shadows of irrelevance.

The 'At that moment' makes me think someone just did something stupid! Also, in Carlos Ruiz Zafon's books the bad guy is called Corelli, so I'm already scared! Thanks for sharing :)

I can definitely picture that scene...and I'm feeling nervous about what will happen.
ReplyDeleteHere's MY FRIDAY MEMES POST
What a difference from the cover to the teaser. I get zombies from the cover, but not that 56!
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if this is a scary book or a take-off on scary books. The cover looks "campy" to me. Either way, I'll check it out.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Friday 56.
I guess there are gonna be more creepy stories? I agree with Sandy, it looks campy-scary. :P

ReplyDeleteThe Tombstone series (well there were only two books) were released in the middle 1990s and were written for the teen/YA market. The cover is a throwback to the 1980s Point Horror books.
I'll be posting a review for it and Dances with Werewolves next month during my 13 Days of Halloween Event.

ReplyDeleteThere were only two books in the series. The other one was Dances with Werewolves.

ReplyDeleteIt is suppose to be a vampire on the cover.
