At that moment, Mr. Corelli, the teacher, walked into the room - followed by one of the uniformed officers and a tough-looking young woman, dressed in civilian clothes.

  1. The 'At that moment' makes me think someone just did something stupid! Also, in Carlos Ruiz Zafon's books the bad guy is called Corelli, so I'm already scared! Thanks for sharing :)

  2. I can definitely picture that scene...and I'm feeling nervous about what will happen.

  3. What a difference from the cover to the teaser. I get zombies from the cover, but not that 56!

  4. I'm wondering if this is a scary book or a take-off on scary books. The cover looks "campy" to me. Either way, I'll check it out.
    Here's my Friday 56.

  5. I guess there are gonna be more creepy stories? I agree with Sandy, it looks campy-scary. :P

The Tombstone series (well there were only two books) were released in the middle 1990s and were written for the teen/YA market. The cover is a throwback to the 1980s Point Horror books.

I'll be posting a review for it and Dances with Werewolves next month during my 13 Days of Halloween Event.

There were only two books in the series. The other one was Dances with Werewolves.
