Based upon the hit SyFy television series comes volume one of the Warehouse 13 comic book series containing issues 1-5.
Issue #1 finds the Warehouse team heading to Rio de Janerio to investigate the sinkholes beneath the streets, which a Carnival happens to be above it. The team learns that someone is using an ancient device to mine underground for gold!
In issue #2 the Warehouse teams heads to the Emerald Isle where people are disappearing. While investigating on what device could be responsible for the disappearance, Myka also goes missing, leaving Pete alone to solve the case.
The team, consisting of Pete, Myka, and Claudia, travel to Japan in issue #3, to find the artifact that was stolen by a masked assassin, in which they must get involved in the criminal underworld.
In issue #4, the team travels to the Pacific Northwest to retrieve the strange and dangerous artifacts that had suddenly resurfaced from the ocean floor, but waiting for them is the Lost Cache.
In the last issue in this volume, the team comes face to face with their enemy, Viola Adair, whom has a deadly artifact.
I have only seen a handful of Warehouse 13 episodes, but each issue in this volume keeps faith to the series, mostly because it has the same writers as the show. All the humor and adventure is intact in each exciting issue, making it a fun read for all fans.
