For a long moment he stared at her as if to see whether she had
heard, or felt, his message, and she stared back, into his flaming
eyes. Then he bent his head and sniffed her ankle with the tip of
his nose. She froze, waiting for the jaws to open. But instead, he
merely licked her foot, his hot tongue leaving a bloody mark.Then,
slowly, he turned away from her and bent again to his grisly meal.

  1. As a fan of the old show and the series of books that were published at that time this one intrigues me. It is now on my wish list.

  2. Very timely, with the movie coming out. Dark Shadows was the one vampire show that hooked me. Every afternoon at 3:00 p.m., I was glued to the set.

    Can't wait to see the movie!
