As I casually glanced up, I caught a reflectionin the ornately carved mirror that was sitting ontop of the antique dresser, and what I saw took my breath away.I quickly turned toward Cynthia and, to my relief, I saw my friendof twelve years. But when I looked back into the mirror, I saw a facethat wasn't mine - a face I recognized as that of my grandmother when she was a young girl.
