Friday Blog Hops

About

I genuinely cherish the thoughts and insights of my readers, and I wholeheartedly welcome your engagement. However, to foster a truly constructive dialogue, I’ll be keeping a careful eye on the comments section. This means I’ll be moderating to weed out any spammy detritus, overly harsh critiques, or contributions that don’t add anything meaningful to the conversation. Think of it as my little corner of the internet—a space where everyone can share their perspectives without the noise. Let’s make this a place where ideas can flourish and grow, rather than wither away in the shadows of irrelevance.
I love Halloween and horror movies! I can't wait for cold weather! New follower!
ReplyDeleteMy Follow Friday
Sounds very spooky! We don't really celebrate halloween in australia but i have a friend who has a dress up party each year just for fun and I look forward to planning a costume.
ReplyDeleteIts just gone on spring here, and although I am not looking forward to the hayfever, I am looking forward to going on a nice holiday in Oct.
Good answer! :D
ReplyDeleteNew follower. :) My Friday and YA Giveaway
Good answer. I wouldn't want someone re-writing me either.
ReplyDeleteHere's my HOP for this week.
I think if you write with conviction and purpose in your story you buy it as a reader (you may not always like it but you buy it). The ones I get frustrated with are series that should have had either a resolution or a change is series arc but the writer is stuck on trying to replicate the success they had earlier in the series.

Have a wonderful weekend!
I understand your point of view when it comes to not wanting to change the ending of a book. So for my answer this week I chose a book that I didn't particularly enjoy so that I wouldn't feel as bad!
ReplyDeleteI'm an old follower.

Oh I totally forgot about the spooky movies. Just love that too. Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteBeing the maverick that I am, I penciled in my own addition to this week’s Follow Friday question and then answered it.
ReplyDeleteChange the ending of a book? No way, no how.
From the perspective of a reader – it never even dawned on me. As a writer I find the notion sacrilegious.
Wait! I can explain! Follow me back to my blog for all the verbosity – http://www.howardsherman.net
Happy Labor Day Weekend!
