Review - Star Trek: The Next Generation: Double Helix: Infection

When you're stuck at home with only your thoughts during a worldwide pandemic, the last thing you probably should do is read a book about a flu outbreak. Thanks to my insomnia (and my insanity), I read Star Trek: The Next Generation: Double Helix: Infection by John Gregory Betancourt (Available on KINDLE!), which is book one in a six-part miniseries based on the concept by John J. Ordover and Michael Jan Friedman.

Sunday Post - Reading To Keep My Sanity!

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer!

Happy Easter, Everyone!

What Am I Currently Reading?

I did a little bit of reading this past week. I read Star Trek: Picard: The Last Best Hope by Una McCormack. I'm planning on writing my review for it this afternoon. Then I read The Warning by James Patterson & Robison Wells, which is a paperback that's been collecting dust since Christmas. Lastly, a few nights ago, I started reading the nonfiction Paperbacks from Hell by Grady Hendrix. If you're a horror fan, this book is a must-have!

Possessive children are usually pawns of a revenge-seeking spirits and, helpfully, often come with instructions for how best to lay the spirits to rest and return your child to normalcy, albeit with a few murders on the little angel's rap sheet.

Review - The Warning by James Patterson

Available on Paperback and Kindle!

I always say, "If you have trouble sleeping, then read a book!"

After tossing and turning for several hours, I got out of bed early this morning and grabbed a book that's been sitting on my nightstand since Christmas – The Warning by James Patterson (co-authored with Robison Wells). The novel was published last August by Grand Central Publishing, and I was given the paperback as a gift around the holidays. At the time, I had placed a bookmark inside with the full intention of reading it right away, and, as you can see that never occurred until this morning.

Blu-ray Review - Ultraman Orb: The Movie

AMAZON * Best Buy * Walmart

Yeah, I spent another morning watching a Japanese superhero / Kaiju flick ‒ Ultraman Orb: The Movie – which is a spinoff film of the 2016 Ultraman Orb series. The 71-minute movie was recently released to Blu-ray by Mill Creek Entertainment. It was also released as on a Blu-ray set with Ultraman Orb series late last year.

Random Ramblings - Finding Love During A Pandemic

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are 100% mine.

The last few weeks have been very hectic and stressful for me, and I'm assuming it's been the same for just about everyone else due to the worldwide pandemic that we're currently going through. Jobs have been lost, MLB has been postponed, summer movies have had their release dates changed, many stores are closed, and even The Walking Dead finale has been delayed. Add in the toilet paper madness, things are pretty crazy in the world. If you weren't already suffering from anxiety, then you're most likely are now.
