Finally, President Andrew Jackson slips out of the White House and rides back to the National Hotel, where he can at least relax.
page 56, "Confronting the Presidents'" by Bill O'Reilly & Martin Dugard
My Thoughts
On Tuesday, I searched for "Confronting the Presidents" in a store but couldn't find it, which is a good thing because when I got home, I found a package on my doorstep containing a review copy from the publisher. Glad I didn't buy it.
Before heading out for an errand today, I read the prologue, consisting of two pages. I'm planning to read more tonight. There are 44 chapters in total, each focused on a different President. The 45th, Donald Trump, and the 46th, Joe Biden, are featured in the "Afterward" instead of having separate chapters.
Hmm. Sounds interesting. I wonder how much historical context is given for each situation/President.
ReplyDeleteAlthough not a book I would likely pick up, I hope you enjoy it and find it informative as well as entertaining.
