NO MAN'S LAND continues the story from the end of the action-packed first season of STAR TREK: PICARD. Raffi and Seven of Nine are interrupted during their relaxation time by a plea for help from a distant planet. They team up to rescue a professor targeted by a Romulan warlord, and the story explores the attraction between them depicted at the end of the season finale.
STAR TREK: PICARD: NO MAN'S LAND is a short "filler" story; it has its moments of sci-fi fun but feels less like STAR TREK and more like STAR WARS. Despite a lot of nitpicking with the 2022 audio drama, I gave it three out of five stars, but I can't give that high of a rating for the script book because of the pure laziness of not novelizing the audio script. At least the audio drama had a good voice cast and entertaining sound effects; the script book, at 149 pages, may be seen as having little to offer fans beyond being a dust collector on a shelf. ╌★★✰✰✰
