  Billy's Answer

I can't think of a single book or character that meets the bill. However, for me, reading in general improves mental clarity. It more or less distracts me from my life's cares and problems.

  2. Reading absolutely helps cope with the struggles of daily life! One book that wasn't necessarily enlightening or comforting,, but that I thought did a good job with its treatment of an autistic main character, was Unseelie by Ivelisse Housman.

  3. I definitely agree about that! I love reading to escape my reality and problems. They'll still be there when I'm done, but the escape is nice for a few hours!

    Here's my BBH
