  Billy's Answer

I have gone weeks without reading, but I'm not sure how many days it was exactly. How come? I've occasionally become burned out on reading due to depression, illness, family issues, or a lack of spare time.

  1. I’ve gone 3-4 days if I’m in a reading slump or just not feeling like reading.

  2. I haven't gone that long without reading, and definitely not in the last ten years.

  3. I find I rarely not read myself. The only time I might not read is when I go on vacation somewhere and am consumed with doing things.

    Here's my BBH

    Have a GREAT day!

  4. Three months a few years ago during a period of grief. That's the longest I can recall.

  5. It's usually a few hours for me. :)

    Great question, Billy.

  6. I don't think I have ever not read. It's just a daily thing for me to read. Hope you have a great weekend!

  7. Depression sure is a hobby thief. I deal with that as well and sometimes, like last year, I just couldn't get myself to read all that often. Sorry you have to deal with that too.

  8. That's understandable. I've struggled at times for similar reasons.
