My Thoughts

1/5/22 - I picked up These Violent Times at a Dollar Tree store a few weeks ago. I started reading it this morning (Wednesday), and so far, I like it. Okay. Okay. I'm enjoying it so much that I purchased the first two books in the series for $1.99 each on Kindle.

  1. Westerns always remind me of my grandfather. How he loved reading them. Don't think I've actually ever read one myself.

I'm glad you are enjoying this series so much.

    Have a good weekend!

  2. I don't read many westerns but that's a good title!

  3. I bought a book the other week from Dollar Tree, realized it was a #2 in the series, read the first three pages, and then went looking for the first book. Sometimes the Dollar Tree, isn't all that bad.

  4. I love it when you are enjoying a book so much you end up buying others in the series before you even finish. That's saying a lot. :-) My dad was really into westerns, especially Louis L'Amour. I think my brother inherited all those books when my mom was downsizing for her move. He's not the reader I am, so I admit I was a little sad about that--but maybe I can convince him to loan me them someday. I hope you have a great weekend, Billy!
