  Billy's Answer

My biggest bookish pet peeve is when someone bends a paperback too far back. This ruins the spine, and most times, the front cover either becomes loose or falls off.

  1. Oh god, I cringe every time I see people doing this. I'm just thankful it's not one of my books! This is usually why I hardly ever loan mine out. I'm likely just to buy them the book so they can do what they want with it!

    Here's my BBH

    Have a GREAT day!

    Old Follower :)

    1. I understand that sometimes the spines get damaged a bit, but there's no excuse for pulling the cover all the way back!

  2. The picture that makes in my mind is definitely cringe-worthy.

  3. I'm slinking away quietly here.... I'm a known book abuser.

  4. Hi,
I don't bend them so far it cracks the binding. Just enough to get to the next page. Have a great day!

  5. Yeah, that's pretty annoying! I try not to break the spine, but it's hard with mass markets sometimes.
