Random Ramblings - Finding Love During A Pandemic

This is a sponsored post. All opinions are 100% mine.

The last few weeks have been very hectic and stressful for me, and I'm assuming it's been the same for just about everyone else due to the worldwide pandemic that we're currently going through. Jobs have been lost, MLB has been postponed, summer movies have had their release dates changed, many stores are closed, and even The Walking Dead finale has been delayed. Add in the toilet paper madness, things are pretty crazy in the world. If you weren't already suffering from anxiety, then you're most likely are now.

The spring and summertime months are usually a great time to go outside and make friends, form relationships, and just have fun. With all current gloom and doom, this can be a depressing time for single people, like me. Add on the fact that we now have to self -quarantine to keep ourselves safe, as well as others, it only makes things worse.

Despite what everything currently looks like, it's not the end of the world. Thanks to the iPhones, tablets, and laptops via the internet, everyone is still connected to other singles all around the world with similar likes and interests. There are gobs of friendship, dating, and single websites, like a Derbyshire dating site, out there on the world wide web. All you have do is do a quick "google" search for whatever type of relationship you are looking for, such as nerd finder, Cardiff sex, soulmate matchmaking, or Merseyside sex, if that's something you're looking for.

With all the extra free time we now have because of social distancing during this pandemic, its a great time for us singles to take this opportunity to find new friends or even long-distance romantic relationships. If you want to connect with someone in the UK, then you might want to try Love Oxfordshire Singles. If dating sites aren't your thing, then there's Reddit groups, Instagram, GoodReads (for booklovers), and countless other places on the internet to meet new friends and/or lovers.

Don't let the dreaded "cabin fever" take control of your life. Try to keep active in some capacity during these troubling times. If you cannot find someone online to share your interests with or for some reason you just don't want to find someone, then spend your time well with hobbies. If you don't have any hobbies, then it's time to find one, such as reading, writing, art, crafts, and gaming. If you have a decent video camera and microphone, you can always start a podcast or Youtube channel by your time until the world gets back to normal.

FYI: If I had a decent camera, I would take another stab at making YouTube videos, where I would talk about books, movies, and anything geeky. Since I don't have a working camera, I might attempt to write something fiction-wise again. I've had that writer's itch for quite some time, but I just haven't had the free time to sit down, figure out my thoughts, and write.

Anyway, do your best to stay safe & sound!
