page 56, The Tinderbox by Beverly Lewis
My Thoughts
The Tinderbox arrived in the mail a few days ago courtesy of Bethany House Publishers. It's been awhile since I've read a Amish tale by Beverly Lewis, so I'll probably be reading this one next. Actually, I might even read it over the weekend.
I've read a book by this author and thought it was well done. Enjoy. My review and quotes for VOICES
ReplyDeleteShe's a wonderful writer!!!
DeleteFascinating! I've heard of this author but have never read any of her books. I hope you've enjoyed this one.
ReplyDeleteMy Friday post features excerpts from Buffalo Gal.
Beverly Lewis is a great writer. If you ever decide to read one of her books, I would recommend starting with The Shunning, book one in The Heritage of Lancaster County series.
DeleteI love Amish fiction and I have read something by Lewis previously, though in an anthology. I think I would like this one. :-) Happy Easter weekend!
ReplyDeleteThe first Amish fiction I had ever read was by Beverly Lewis. It was The Covenant, book one in the Abram's Daughter series.
DeleteI like the setting but haven't heard of the author. Today I am spotlighting Spellslinger by Sebastien De Castell. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read much Amish fiction, and have to admit I didn't know if I'd like it, but I was pleasantly surprised.
ReplyDeleteHappy Good Friday, Billy!
