There are many softwares on the market that can help you make a backup DVD, but look out for a few freeware that contains malwares. I recommend using a professional software, such as DVDFab!
DVDFab has been around for over eleven years and is considered to be the best DVD copy software on the market today. The DVDFab Copy Software allows you to copy any video file or DVD onto a blank disc. Or you have the option to move the video files to another file on your computer or copy the DVD to an ISO file.
Unlike other softwares, the DVDFab copying speed is extremely fast, typically between ten and twenty minutes. You can burn the video file onto almost any disc, such as DVD+R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R DL, and DVD-R DL. The software can remove DVD copy protections from any disc, which means if your favorite movie or television show's discs get damage in anyway, you can easily make a backup copy or replacement copy.

Surprisingly, while I was trying out the DVD cloner, I noticed you can copy a badly scratched DVD. I thought this was great, as I was able to copy an old made-for-television horror movie (which I originally copied for a old recorded VHS tape) onto a blank DVD. There were several deep scratched on it and I wanted to make a backup copy, as the movie isn't available to buy on DVD or Blu-ray. The DVDFab easily copied it to my computer, which I then burned the movie file to a blank DVD. Twenty minutes later, I had a fresh backup copy. Overall, I'm impressed with the DVDFab software and I recommend it to everyone. You can download a trial version and try it out today!
